62nd Program Year

The Albuquerque Committee on Foreign Relations will begin the 62nd Program Year with its First Meeting on Tuesday, September 14th at the Tanoan Country Club, 10801 Academy Boulevard NE.

Professor Bahman Baktiari, Director of the Middle East Center at the University of Utah will discuss How to Engage Iran: Lessons from Three Decades of Troubled U.S.-Iranian Relations. Previously he had been Director of the School of Policy and International Affairs at the University of Maine. Professor Baktiari received his Ph.D. from the Woodrow Wilson Department of Government and Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia.
